The 28-year-old Liverpool ace joined for 75 million euros + wore No. 14, tripling his annual salary

Bundesliga hegemon Bayern Munich officially announced the official signing of 28-year-old Colombian winger Luis Dias from Liverpool. The two sides will sign a contract until 2029, and Dias will wear Bayern’s number 14 shirt in the new season.

According to Romano, Dias’ transfer fee totals 75 million euros. Dias also became the third highest transfer in Bayern’s history after Harry Kane and Lucas Hernandez.

According to the report, Dias’ annual salary at Bayern is expected to be 14 million euros before tax, more than three times that of his net annual salary (about 2.7 million euros) during his time at Liverpool.

In the 2022 winter window, Dias joined Liverpool from Porto for a transfer fee of 54 million euros, and played for Liverpool for three and a half years, making a total of 148 appearances, scoring 41 goals and 23 assists. Currently, Dias is worth 70 million euros in the German “transfer market”.

In the new season, Dias will be Bayern’s main left winger, forming an attacking trident with Kane and Oliseh. It is worth noting that all three were brought in by Bayern from the Premier League.

Dias also became Bayern’s third signing this summer, after Bayern signed centre-back Jonatan Ta and midfielder Bischoff, both of whom joined for free, while Bayern paid 2.3 million euros to their old clubs to join them early in order to allow them to participate in the Club World Cup. This summer window, Bayern’s transfer fee cost less than 80 million.
